I purposefully destroyed my Lomo camera so that it would take two shots and then stall. Then the next time I took a shot it would take another two, imposing the different shots together. It wasn't always successful, but it's in the shots that weren't planned that I think were most interesting. It would often overlay the images or stretch them, making for an interesting juxtaposition.
This is my favorite one of the four, I like the overlaping images and the distortion on this one. That's a really interesting effect...did you know what you were doing when you tinkered with the camera, or was it experimentation?
I knew that I'd mix up two images, but had thought that it would still hold it's symmetry. It didn't. I still like some of the effects though. The distortion was random due to the broken teeth on the cogs of the mechanism. (I broke some of them off). Thanks for the comment.
